I’m sorry for being out of touch this week. Rachelmarsom.com has been a bit rocky in terms of consistency. A virus entered our server and kept shutting it down. Don’t worry loyal readers—
this does not put you at any risk. It’s just been annoying.

I don’t understand the point of anyone launching a virus on a site like this or Derrick’s. We aren’t making any money off of ad revenue. Shutting down our webpages only provides an inconvenience. In the next week, I need to do the following: grade 45 comparison/contrast papers, meet with 45 students, complete a 10 item annotated bibliography, write a poetry book review, write a student recommendation, and help Derrick rake/leaf blow the yard. I shouldn’t have to worry about rachelmarsom.com being sabotaged by some random meaniehead on top of everything else.

So please Mr. Virus. Don’t bother us anymore, and pass that request along to your hacker friends. We aren’t hurting anybody! Show some kindness in Halloween season!
