I wanted to post a poem today. I looked and looked and looked and couldn’t find one. I went to the bookshelf, and I pulled out books and books. I flipped and read and sought out dog-ears. I couldn’t find one. Some days there’s just not a poem to fit what you’re feeling. Or maybe the poem I need is one I haven’t read yet.
I am a poet, Pushcart Prize nominee, and 2011 graduate of Georgia College & State University’s MFA program. I am looking for a teaching position where I can help foster students’ creativity and critical thinking skills.
I love scary movies and watch them while I grade. I own more movies than books. I’ve written a screenplay, but I still need to finish my campus novel. Give me a bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit, and I am yours. I host Friday the 13th parties, play board games, and create pom-pom critters (along with the occasional sock monkey).
